Hi Mik!

I am guessing that the MIDI note numbers are not matching across the two modules. The DrumIt can use multiple notes per channel so likely the defaults in the DTX will not match with the 2Box and need to be adjusted to suit.

I am hoping to be able to use a Yamaha DTXplorer module as a slave module for my 2box drumit5 module (orange version) - from midi out in the DTXplorer to mini in in the 2box.

The usb/midi connection light is blinking and THRU is "on". But the pads connected to the DTXplorer produces no sound on any of the 11 midi channels in the 2box module (the hits on the pads connected to the 2box module does produce a sound). The hits are recognized on the screen of the DTXplorer module, though. So what am I missing?

I have some of these Push/Pots spare. These are for the drumit5 mk 1. And I mean the control knobs which are rotary and push to select types? You're welcome to them, just cover the shipping. I am based in UK.

Greetings from NC, USA! First time here.  First time 2Box owner.  25+y ddrum user. Question... does anyone know where to find a parts list for the DI5 Mk I? I'm asking as I just purchased a used unit, and it was damaged in transit, due to improper packaging.  The KIT CHANGE knob (far left encoder in the section below the LCD) was broken off cleanly.  I have rebuilt my ddrum AT and my ddrum4 SE multiple times over the years (replacing pots, encoders, jacks, etc.), and was able to find part numbers online, sometimes having to substitute. I haven't torn the unit down yet, but was going to try and find parts before I do that.  Anyone have any clue as to where to find the info? I would post a pic, but i can't see how to do that either. Thanks in advance!

Every so often a rumour of them going out of business (or being bought out) arises. I haven't heard anything personally, though it's not like I have some insider trading information.

That is a long time to wait though. Have you thought about picking up one second hand? They pop up occasionally on eBay and Facebook. Or was it you really wanted a new one and thus the warrantee?

I have been awaiting the delivery of a 2box Drumit 5 MkII from Andertons Music (UK) since early November 2023! Every time I complain, the retailer says that the supplier/manufacturer are having production issues and that it will come a few weeks later. I decided to go elsewhere, but have found that other retailers are having the same issue as Andertons... So my question is, does anyone know or have evidence that 2box is about to go out of business? This would be an alarming prospect for everyone in this forum, I think you would agree... Any thoughts or information they would like to share?

Hi all,
since I have in my plan to buy shortly a drumit 5 mark II I have some questions to help me to decide. Consider that actually I have a TD30 set and module (so a good product) and I have to decide to change the sound module or not.
 

- Is drumit 5 fully compatible with hi-hat VH-13? Are the hi-hat splashes configurable.
- is the choke function available for Roland CY-14C (with a realistic tightening of the cymbal instead of using an external "midi choke note") ?
- As I understood the module don't have a reverb engine onboard. Is it confirmed? How the best solution to solve it in an easy way (I suppose that a solution is modifying all the samples and reload them wet on the brain but I think it could be a bit tricky and definitive since, once applied, I cannot reduce or increase the reverb)
- is easy to convert and load vst libraries (I already have a SSD5 library) on the module?

Sorry, probably some of these questons are already been discussed but I haven't found it in a clear (yes/not) way.
