Hi,
I'd like to know if it is possible to assign, for example, a splash sample
to the bell of a cymbal, a crash sample to the bow and a china sample
to the edge ?
I believe that Roland and Yamaha allow these features, but I don't know
how to do that with the drumit five ?
I tried to select with the button more, but it works only with the snare
and tom rims.
Could someone help me ?

Thank you.

Dr.Wu

sounds like a job for the software editor that is supposed to appear sometime next year.

That means that it's not possible to assign samples
separately to the 3 zones of the cymbals by using the
unit ?
They could have put a MORE button for the cymbal
zones, it would have been easier than putting the parts
together on the PC...

OK, let's wait for the software editor...

I'd like to do the same thing, add a splash sound to the bell of a cymbal, a crash to the bow and a china to the edge. Any news about this? Is it possible with the current OS/firmware or do me need the software editor for this issue?

Thx!

Hi
It's not possible with the current OS.
You can do that with Dsndtool.
