General 2box Drumit 5 forum / Missing jazz tom sound
March 01, 2014, 05:54:50 AM
I know this has been discussed before but I don't think it was resolved. I'm missing 2 .dsnds that were not included onboard when I got my 2box module (new). The missing sounds are the Tom/ Jazz 12 Tom and Tom/ Jazz 14 Tom. The sounds are not included on the hyperactive website zip file but I know they did exist.
If someone would be so kind as to email them to me or point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks so much!

I'm sorry if this has already been discussed (if so, please point me in that direction) but is it possible to create DSNDs from eco in stand alone mode? If not, is there an other method? The directions for BFD2 don't really apply to eco.
Many thanks. Tony G

If money was not an issue, what would you all recommend as the best triggering method for an acoustic drum conversion? I'm currently using a Yamaha recording custom kit with Hart dynamic mesh heads, 8"10"12" and 14" toms, Hart dynamics Acusnare, remo muffle rings and ddrum redshot triggers. I get reasonable results but, is there a better alternative? I gig regularly and am willing to invest in the best possible (within reason). Many thanks.

I'm looking for recommendations for sample collections (Superior Drummer, SSD etc.). I need to get Fusion/Modern jazz sounds ala Spyro Gyra, Yellow Jackets etc. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks.

General 2box Drumit 5 forum / Newbie ENV question
August 08, 2012, 04:25:29 AM
I am a current ddrum4 user and have recently purchased a DrumIt Five module to replace the ddrum module. I use a Yamaha Recording Custom kit with ddrum triggers on mesh heads. I am woodshedding this new module as I want to understand everything about it and its operation before I implement it into my rack. I've been thru the manual often and have come across some not so clear (to me at least) questions and would welcome any help from you guys (and girls) who have had the pleasure longer than me.
On the Kit-Env screen, under SOUND, what exactly do the various combinations of + and - indicate? +++, +-+, --+ etc.
Many thanks,  Tony G

Seems like I've been waiting patiently for not days, weeks, months but YEARS!
Is this ever going to happen? I love my ddrum4 but need more.
Can anyone give a realistic time frame or am I just contining to spin my wheels?
I don't want a full kit,.....If I only had a brain...
