Hi-hat: small range open/close

Hi there
I  recently bought the  2box module + hi-hat, which I installed on my Jobeky Kit
Jobeky pads work great and the sensitivity of hi-hat is very good
But I can not adapt to the small range open / closed of the  hi-hat!!
The range, about 5 mm, is given by compressing the green rubber ring, under the controller.


How can I increase the range at least 15-20 mm?

did you try to calibrate the hihat? (OS 1.10: menu UNIT, down to menu PREF)

Yes, I set the hi-hat  and sounds good
It's hardware trouble, i think.
Do you have only one green rubber ring under the pad?
How many millimiters is your range open/close ?
The thickness of the ring is about 5 mm, whereas I can not compress it all, my range, open / close is about 4 mm!

Yes, only one green rubber under the hihat (5mm).

Range open/close: max approx. 25mm

I have a problem with my hi-hat settings.
when I step on the pedal is much louder than when I play it by hand. Why is that?

Hey Hungyer,

I had a similar feeling with my Hi-Hat. Go to the Unit - HPED page and lower the Sens Parameter. In addition try to change the Curve to Neg1 or Neg2. You may have to play a bit with it but I could get it right at the end.
