I bought my Drumit 5 used ... I have made a backup a couple times of the files in the module. There is one file .metadata_never_index  .... there is 0 KB .... seems like it might be a file pertaining to hooking up to a Mac .... but I am not sure ... I assume this is not an essential file ... anyone know? Do all the modules have that file?
I could tell you where to stick that piezo! :D ;)

it's a file that tells Mac OS X not to allow Spotlight (the fancy searching system on Macs) to index the volume.

OK, good to know, thanks. I don't own a Mac, do all Drumit 5 modules have this file?

nope, only when someone has used the module on a Mac and turned the Spotlight indexing off. you can safely delete the file if you only use Windows.
