Hey there beautiful 2boxers :)

Since I set up the forum I've been kinda busy starting a business (gadzooks it sucks up every moment of your time..!). I wish I had more time to make music and participate in the forum, but at the very least I've been keeping an eye out for spammers (thanks big time to the forum members who have pointed out the ones who squeezed past my ban stick).

Just want to ask if there are any useful changes to the forum you'd like to see - for instance merging, creating, or deleting sub-forums? Would you like a general area to talk about stuff that doesn't necessarily involve talking about hitting things?

Can't promise to implelement any of your ideas, but I'll do what I can :)

Cheers,
Tom

Hi Tom .... just a newbie here.... A DIY edrum section might be nice. People that mod that MK1 kick into an MKII kick .... exterior SDHC module DIY ..  everything from fixing your stock Drumit 5  drum/cymbal to building your own pads, etc... I know over at the other forum I'm on the DIY section has become very popular... Jerry
I could tell you where to stick that piezo! :D ;)

Hello Tom

I thought about a thread named "diary" with the dates of the next updates (OS, editor,...), if the 2box team agrees to keep it, of course.

That will avoid me spending time scrutinizing their site.  :P

Hello UC

+1 for Jman's diy section..

DRUMIT5 is 2 years old , Maybe a thread where 2box users could tell their whilst and ideas for the future " DRUMIT6" could be nice .

an whole section for DDRUM "refugees" could be nice , its sometimes confusing for 2box users to speak about DDRUMS stuff in 2BOX threads .... but those users deserve a place somewhere as i ve heard their forum is closed ... and here they can stay in contact with the originals developpers....

Some news from the developpers would be welcome too....

These are all great ideas, thanks.

You should see a whole bunch of new sub-forums!

There's also now a link to the Calendar.

If you have any events you want me to add, please send me a private message and I'll try and add them accordingly.
Please give me plenty of notice!

UC

P.S...Sorry for the down-time today. I don't know what happened, but I'll be sending my army of evil robots over to the hosting company to find out.

OMG
No. Not please
A lot of sub-forums make me get lost
Please merge them so i can quickly jump in and see what's updated, hot or not.

Thanks UC.

What about an International section, where people could speak in their own language?

UC

Good question!

I personally think that people should be able to post in any language they like anywhere in the forum.

If you find a thread you don't understand...well...there's a lot of translation tools on the web :)

Sound okay?

Vive la différence!

There's always one, isn't there. And it's usually you  :P

May I respectfully point you at the RSS Feed :)

Edit: If you look in the address bar, you can change the number of posts you see in your feed - just change the limit number...

eg:
http://www.2box-forum.com/?action=.xml;type=rss2;limit=30

Hope that helps :)
