A little help with connecting to PA please!

I have read the instruction manual, and am just wanting clarification. Do I need to connect two quarter inch (guitar) cables to the PA mixing desk? One from Out 1 and one from Out2? Or just one (from Out1) ? I only typically have one input for each instrument on the mixing desk (also quarter inch female jack).

If you want to run it in stereo you can use 2 jack cables and connect them to output 1 and 2 (page 11 manual).
