Hello,

few months of hard work and here it is!

Well, next thing is to make a nice drum mat for the kit and sort out the cable mess! Oh, and the mess in my room as well  ::)

Nice, same colour (almost) as mine. For the cable mess I recommend a reel of double-sided velcro, just cut 3" lengths off and place at strategic positions on the rack. I got mine from Thomann.

Thanks, the finish is actually a semi mat sparkle blue. Its actually a car wrap. I wanted to paint the drums but i dont have a proper room to do it. And minus temperatures didnt help either. Maybe during the summer ;-) I opted for a blue sea/marine/turquoise, just like sonor martini kit. Next thing to do is to buy a white front reso for the kick and some natural wood hoops:D

Coda

Mine is similar, but flat dark blue slightly glossy, designed to go on walls or cupboards I think. It's not so tough, so I'll have to redo it in the future. Car wrap eh? I'll look into that.

Have you had time to play with the trigit triggers? how do they perform with the 2box module and the 682 mesh heads?

edcito

This is my latest incarnation: a converted cheap mapex Saturn with 2box triggers, remo silent stroke mesh heads and zildjian low volume converted with jman triggers.

Looks great. How are you getting on with the 2box triggers? I'm thinking of buying a set too : )

Coda

Yeah particularly - how is the 2box trigger working with the silentstroke on the snare? Any double triggering, or sensitivity issues?

Hey There,

Here's how i rock my 2box.
I use kriggs for the kick drums.
