Hihat trouble

Hi All,

Anyone had a hihat the won't send open/closed signal and only trigger zone 8 (edge)?

I've got one doing this now. It worked properly one day, then the next day, after being packed up, moved and then setup again, it didn't work properly.

Yep already tried that. It's at the supplier at the moment. It's probably stuffed.

Well that's me all out of ideas. Hope you get it sorted.

I have a similar problem. I recorded midi to look what is happening. Playing the bow works fine, very linear and great, but playing edge on the hihat is very weird. This is how it looks when I play from soft to harder on the same spot on the edge of the hihat:

EDGE: x x x x x    x    x   x  x       x  x
BOW:                x    x    x      x  x

Anyone have any solution to this? =/

EDIT: I have already tried another cable and tried to make the hihat sit more steady. I have also checked the metal thingys on the edge under the rubber, and they seem ok (not touching the plate)

A good thing would be if we could set higer or lower sensivity on the edge  =/
