Hihat calibration after 1.32 upgrade

I found an answer - and a question. (the circle of life, holds up Simba)

After upgrade to 1.32, hihat only played open sound. Tried standard calibration cycle (HCAL menu. Press DATA button 3x while opening / closing hat at the appropriate time) to no avail.
Discovered through trial and error the answer is NOT in the HCAL menu.

1. page down to the HSET menu.
2. change HHPOS value from "0" to "Off"
3. Return to HCAL and run the calibration sequence. This fixes hihat calibration across all kits.

Very happy to discover a fix after an hour of experimenting!

However, my question: after DrumIt5 power cycle, the HSET > HHPOS value returns to "0".
Now that I've memorized the steps, the fix takes <30 seconds but really hope I'm missing something simple to force "HSET > HHPOS: Off" to a persistent setting.
