Hum after sound

Hello,

After a sound plays, a trebble hum plays for, let's say, two seconds. This happens no matter what sound I play (and I think I have turned off effects). It's not very loud, but it's loug enough. I can get rid of it by adjusting the decay...but, I don't really like that, because I want some sounds to ring.

Does anyone have a clue about what causes this and how to get rid of it?

i don't get it with all the sounds ... i'd say it's the recorded noise floor, maybe sometimes even compressed and thus more present ...
if you play back a sample that is low in level at a high level it's most obvious ... one thing u can do: hit harder to trigger louder samples - the signal to noise ratio will be better :) - or adjust the trigger settings - or maybe it's the headphone amplifier? how much do you turn the volume up? at a certain point the noise will get more obvious ...
