New to me ddrum 4se

Just picked up a ddrum 4se full kit from Guitar Center.

I pretty sure they didn't know what they had cause I got this kit for a song.

Still a very worthy kit. Super fast triggering, you can midi trigger 8 notes of each pad (as far as I can remember) over a velocity curve. If you're gonna trigger acoustic drums live, it's very good at that. Hihat engine was a little limited for it's time (single zone) but there's pressure and positional sensing on (I think) 4 of the inputs, one of them being the snare.

I had one for about 10 years and I played the poop out of it, only sold it to a dude in Abu Dhabi to part finance my trip home after being out there for 5 years.

I'da know... I would argue the HiHat was quite advanced for its time (1997) and still stands up well against even current offerings today, 25 years later  ;)
