New Trigger Cone Issues

I just replaced a jobeky trigger cone that had disintegrated with a drum doctor cone - I’m experiencing a weird double triggering thing… anyone else experienced this? Any idea what it is and how I can deal with it?

Lots of reason for the difference in triggering between the Jobeky and the drum doctor. The Jobeky's are hot in signal for starters.

What mesh head are you using?
What settings are you trigging with, trig type, gain, threshold, mask time etc.
