Transforming a 2Box side-trigger into center-mounted?

Hi everyone,

I'm doing an A2E conversion and will be using the 2box TriggerIt Triggerset + eDRUMin module. However, because I'd like to have positional sensing on my snare, I am thinking of converting one of the stereo side-triggers into a centered-cone one.

Has anybody tried anything like that? (I'm thinking that inside of the side trigger there must be 2 piezos, so I could just remove them, put them on a crossbar, and that should be it?).

2box does not have positional sensing only older roland modules TD30 and below

sorry just noticed edrumin module, i would just make a center trigger of your own using foam and a piezo. i use my own center mounted trigger on a 14" snare with td 12 and a triggit for the snare input on my 2box ,gives some nice mixed sounds and positional sensing ,great for flams
