I don't have any problems with the beater noise myself
So I use the standard beater

<it isnt noise that is the problem, it is that the beater bounces twice at the kick everytime I hit it.

Is there a way to untighten the meshhead on the kick?

Found on another forum:

" a french retailer told me that production of the 2box kit is stopped by now because of some conception problems and maybe will restart on september but that's not sure"

I send a mail to 2box to know if it's true.

I have got no more explanation at that time. It may be the process that is used to build the kit, the materials that are used, I don't know. When I read this I thought cymbals and their triggering problem.

"There are many stories. The truth is that we have made some changes to the better and the production have been delayed because of that -  but is now on full speed.

We reckon that in 2 months time it will reach the dealers.

If it is new cymbals, I hope we who bought this kit will get those, cause the ones right now doesn't work right (the zones)

As seen before: there is a lot of bla bla on forums, whether coming from retailers, shop keepers or not

yes, but 2Box have indicated in another thread on this forum that the next firmware update will improve the cymbal triggering, but it will still be a compromise, and won't solve the problem completely.
