« on: January 13, 2020, 09:15:41 AM »
Hi every1, Good day, I need your help and suggestion which best hihat pad and controller is best for the upcoming module drumit 5 Mk2, or 2box 3 module, I have this alesis DM10 and really Im already frustrated with the hihat, cannot open it nicely enough like other module thus. (Roland-VH13) , even close and splash, so I'm planning to upgrade my module either 2box or roland td30.

You'll do just fine with a VH11. I tried the Di3 with a mate's one and it was great! Very basic gain, threshold and curve setting then the calibration process.
I have a mish-mash on on mine. It's a pintech visulite 14'" crash as the hat and a goedrum controller. Works great!

Hi Welshsteve, Thanks for the info, highly appreciated your response.. Thanks a lot!!. I really frustrated long time with the alesis how it response to openess and close even splash thing. Im also using Go edrum controller but I think i'ts a module thing that cannot handle a 4 major points when open and closing of hihat..
Thanks buddy!

It depends on how close to real hihat response you're after. In all honesty I don't think any module does it exactly. Some are closer than others and with the Di3, it's close enough for me. I also have a mimic pro and even that is not spot on!
