Split bass drum input

I want to know if you can split the bass drum input with the d3 to allow two pads having different sound ex: bass drum L and bass drum R
I have split mine for two bass drum on the d5 but its 2 times the same sound, as the bass drum input used to control the light on the original bass drum pad

i m quite sure you cant , but you can use a tom input to do that if you need so , and use the Kick input for a mono tom or mono cymbal .
