Triggering L80 and Drumit5

Hi guys.. I just bought a set a of L80, and Im wondering if any of you has successfully implemented DIY trigers on them? I tried and I found some problems specially with very hot signals. Also, Im using jman's hihiat conversion on the base of the hihat stand, the problem is when foot splash I t also triggers the top.
Thoughts?

Have you pm'd Jman.? He will straighten you out. Sounds like a settings situation. No big deal!

I use Arborea low volume  cymbals and they trigger fine.  But I needed several modifications before they triggered fine.

I use a rubber guard around the edge of the cymbals and 1 or 2 pieces of 1,75mm thick rubber under the 20mm piezo in the bell. That works fine for me.
