Same issue with the snare!
Old post both wanted to put this here anyway if somebody experience the same problem.

My snare started to act up and missing beats. Seemed very random but in clusters. Switched cables, fiddled with settings and so on. Found the characteristics changed a bit with tension.
Finally, when comparing a new trigger to the old one, found that the foam had bean squeezed thinner over time. 1.5 mm.
Added a small slice of foam as a distance under the trigger and everythings works great.
