To add, the routing of that long extender cable inside the box can affect your triggering. I was experience ghost triggers on my ride until I opened up my unit and relocated the extender cable more carefully - away from the trigger inputs. Secured with duct tape.

+1 to that. After installing extender cable and reassembling the unit for the first time, suddenly the cymbals started to trigger by themselves. Found that sound advice of Coda in forum, rolled up to one side the cable and wrapped it with rubber and problem disappeared.
