how much is a used mk1 worth?

I've been itching to buy a new mk2 kit, I found a used mk1 kit for 700.00 is it worth it? Its a long drive to pick it up.............

I know and figured even a mk1 is worth that, just in case will other drum racks work with it? I can get a nice used Gibralter rack for 200.00, I have 2 extra mk2 cymbals and tom and snare pads I bought here. I also have a good snare stand,hi hat stand and double kick pedals sitting around. Sorry I am a guitar player and don't know much about drums except how to play them fairly well.

Yeah, as long as the module is working it would be worth it. And since modules can be updated, it doesn't really matter how old it is. The rack tubing is standard 1 1/2" diameter so yeah standard Gibraltar racks work. Cymbals will work on pretty much any cymbal arm. Toms mount on a hex arm/rod, so the original 2Box tom arms are good for that. Cool thanks, bummer is I have to drive a few hours to get it but better than spending 2500.00 + tax to get one at GC and I can customize it. I'll be calling you for the card upgrade..........
