I have roland rt30h but i dont know if is compatibility rt30h for snare with 2box drumit 5.playing 2 zones rim and head?.please responding .thanks

Jman

I think the RT-30H is just a single zone trigger, which would mean it is single zone with all drum modules, not just the 2Box. The RT-30HR is the dual zone trigger.
I could tell you where to stick that piezo! :D ;)

It shouldn't be a problem. With the latest 2Box OS there are plenty of trigger parameters that can be tweaked. Including parameters for dual zone external triggers.

Use the Bow/Edge output of the CY-12RC. Plug into the Cymbal 1 or Cymbal 3 input on the 2Box module and in the Unit settings choose CyEdg for the trigger type. It will work as dual zone (Bow/Edge) with Choke.

Funny, that's exactly what I said in the other forum!

And by the way grohl ..... Allan reviewed the Roland RT-30HR in digitaldrummer magazine back in May 2015. And he tested it with a 2Box module too with good results. You might want to check out that review. J
