Batter head

Hi guys,

I really hope you all can help.

I've put a batter head onto my 2box snare drum & since doing so I cannot for the life of me get the 'feel' right.  It's either all or nothing & I really need help in the settings department.

I'd be really grateful of any advice please & maybe some of your settings if you too use a batter head on the snare...

I have done this before and you have to adjust the trigger types. If it's a snare you're using a mylar head, you need to set the trigger type to AC1. You'll probably have to adjust the gain and threshold, perhaps mask time too  but it shouldn't be difficult.

Thanks for the info.  How do I adjust the mask time please?

The head I'm using is an Aquarian texture coated Response 2 if that helps?

Mask time is in unit page. Select the channel you're editing (in this case snare I presume) and page down past trig types and mask will appear on its own page. That is if you've got the most unto date version of the OS 1.30 onward.
