So, definitely not something I needed ..... but .... I ended up adding another 2Box module to power my E Percussion section .... picked up a used 2Box module, and repainted it Black Metallic, with a new faceplate from Bengt (thanks Bengt!). I loaded up an 8GB SD card with Percussion instruments from BFD Percussion and EZX Percussion and it works/sounds pretty nice.

Jerry, I'll bet you're the only private individual on the planet with a 6box (or is that DrumIt15)?
Nice job on the black side/front panel. Looks like a serious module.

Thanks Allan, ..... you're right 3 X 2Box = 6Box. Now if 1.2 Drumit Fives equaled a Drumit 6  ???

OMG, he's bought another one. Maybe it means there's no new module coming from Bengt soon... either that or Jman has too much time and money :)

Nope, not an indication of either. I still have plans to pick up a new module when released (or hopefully before release), for sure. That one was just an opportunity I couldn't pass up.  ;)

How did you paint it Black?
(rolling stones modus on)
Well, I prolly wouldn't have painted it, but the previous owner had painted a different color to match his own setup..... which didn't work for me. So, I took the module apart and painted it inside and out with Rustoleum Metallic "Black Night" spray paint. Then put a top coat of clear. The faceplate needed replaced as it had been removed and just some partial labels were on the front..... So after painting and putting it in the kit ..... once I got the new faceplate in I adhered that .... and there ya go.

Just for info. Previously I used a large 4 hole Roland style module mount on another 2Box module (drilling new holes in the module mount). But for this one I used a Small Yamaha/Roland style 2-hole module mount. That one works pretty nice. I just drilled 1/4" holes closer to the center than the original holes, the holes are drilled right next to the original holes in the module mount, and you clean out the overlap of the holes, making two slots. It works perfect.

I did a similar thing with a mount from drum-tec.de. It's quite flexible though, when I'm playing it wobbles around... I will definitely look at replacing it at some point.
