Hi 2Boxers, I've got a reoccurring problem. The solder has come off what looks like an adhesive strip that covers the metal where it's soldered. Do you know what this material is, if it is necessary for the proper zone to trigger, or if the solder can somehow be glued onto that area? I have re-soldered but it does not stay fixed for more than a few minutes. http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad52/leno_02/2BOX/DSC09824_zpsuk0hshvd.jpg

Hi LENO, What you see is the piezo. That can not be resoldered because it is a ceramic coating. Unfortunately the entire piezo will need to be replaced.

Yeah, it looks like that piezo ceramic is ruined. I believe those piezos are custom built for 2Box, IE: you won't find an exact replacement for that Ring style piezo. I would suggest contacting 2Box direct for info on sending your cymbal in for repair.
I could tell you where to stick that piezo! :D ;)
