OS 1.30 Save, FAVO works on one module not on the other

Anybody else run into this on their module? I have 2 Drumit Five modules. I have the new OS on both. Same exact OS 1.30 Bin file, Same Config file, etc. Even the same Boot no. 1.34. On the newer of the 2 modules I can go to one of my kits past 100 and push Save, FAVO and then turn off, start up the module and it will start on the kit I saved with FAVO. But if I do the exact same on my older module it just starts back up on Kit no. 1, not the kit I saved in FAVO. That module will save any of the 100 standard kits as FAVO, no problem. It is even weirder than that. I just fooled around with it for another 10 minutes or so, and once in a while it would save a kit past 100 as a Favo, but very seldom. It is the kind of thing where I wondered if I stand on one foot and rub my head just right ..... if that might be the clue....... LOL .....

I've never been able to save a FAVO other than in the 1-100 range. I thought it was default behaviour (although would be better if not) and because of that I made an effort to copy the kits I've decided I can use into the 1-100 range. If I could FAVO all kits I wouldn't probably have bothered.

Hey, if you take your SD card from your 'good' module (the one you can FAVO all kits on), and put it in the other module can you still FAVO any kit?

I'm wondering if its 'boot' firmware or SDCard firmware related.

OK, not related to card, or boot  and either module is the same. I just figured it out. I can save the 1st kit beyond 100 as the FAVO kit. But none of the rest of the extra kits. .. just the first and that is the same for both modules. Try it to see if it is the same for you.

That does mean though if you build some VST kits you can have the module start at the 1st kit beyond 100. So you could name kits A SD2, B BFD,  etc. IE names in Alphabetical order according to the order you prefer them in ...... Save the first kit of your extra kits as your FAVO kit and your module will start up on that first kit beyond 100.

I'll try it tonight when I get to church, my drums are still there from last Sunday (I can't be bothered to tear them down and rebuild them again when there's just two days between service and the next practice session).

Anyway, the FAVO issue sounds like a design fault to me.

For some weird reason my 2Box (not yet on 1.30) booted up with kit 86 instead of 87 (which I set as favourite, BFD2 Premier). Will update later this week.

I emailed Bengt and he confirmed that FAVO kit saving is for the 1st 100 kits...... But now I discovered that is actually 101 kits ...... If you save your first Extra Kit (Alphabetically arranged extra kits) as a FAVO kit your module will start up beyond the 1st 100 ........ Oh Yeah, I found a new trick! It works on both of my modules on OS 1.30. J

Yeah I confirmed this last night. Can save first custom kit as Favo.
