2box on a Gibraltar rack

I dug out my ddrum 3 setup and put the 2box on my Gibratar rack. The toms are not as positionable but it is working fine for me and is very solid. The HH and kick drum fit fine and the floor helps with the stability. The 2 box tom clamps slide and will not work well. The brain is awkward as it cannot be positioned well but it is solid and workable.  I think it looks better and would certainly hold up if you gig a lot.  If you are thinking about buying the 2box the standard rack is fine for home playing and even giging with exception of the snare basket. I don't see that holding up over the long term. Now I look as good as I sound.
