Good to see you! Thomann has an inexpensive solution that has positive reviews. http://www.thomann.de/gb/millenium_laptopstand_tripod.htm
They also have other more expensive laptop mounts on the page. Years ago it was pretty tough to find a laptop stand or rack platform, but these days, Gibraltar, Dixon, and others have different models. One suggestion, if you get a platform that the laptop just rests on I would put Velcro on the platform and back of laptop to keep it from getting knocked off by accident. I have a small platform that swings out and mounts under my mixer for my tablet or MP3 player .... had it for years sitting around, originally bought it for my PC desk I think, but it ended up being just the ticket for my drum console.

Coda

Easiest thing is a music stand (not the foldup ones), you can tilt them flat, and later you can actually use it as a music stand too :)

My laptop stand is simply a plastic offcut attached to a speaker mounting bracket that fits onto a 1-1/2" (38mm) rack leg.(http://www.ultimatesupport.com/products/speaker-lighting-stands/speaker-stands-accessories/bmb-200k.html)
