BFD3 (FXpansion) more than 1/2 off in March

Fxpansion has a 1/2 off discount for BFD3 in March. $175 instead of $349. I also received email flyers from various retailers. JRRShop has an additional group buy discount on their site bringing the total down to under $149 ...... J

As a side note: Upgrading from BFD2 to BFD3 is still cheaper if you already own BFD2. JRRShop has the upgrade for $129.

I really like BFD3. There is a huge amount of new instruments/kits. All great quality samples with lots of details, like 3 zones on almost all cymbals. Plus everything you have in BFD2 can be imported to BFD3. I just use all my previous BFD2 and expansions, Zildj Dig Vault, etc. in BFD3 now. Even presets I have done previously in BFD2 are converted over for BFD3.

I have some great BFD2 kits. My favourite practise kit is the Rogers and I fell in love with the OC snare. Played along with some Beatles album on the Ludwig and Pink Floyd on the DW.

My only enemy is time, I still need time to recover from my work and that is time I used to play my drums or tinker the kits. On the other hand, all the time of the world.
