Mounting the 2Box module with kit and no rack.

I just wondered how the 2Boxers are mounting their modules with kits that have no rack? I'm sure there are some of you out there.

One idea I had was to attach the module with a mounting plate like many of us have done  http://www.2box-forum.com/index.php?topic=1846.msg16561#msg16561
and then using a multi clamp to attach it to a cymbal or tom stand  http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=multiclamp+for+cymbal+stand&qpvt=Multiclamp+for+cymbal+stand&FORM=IGRE

Anybody already using the module mounted on something besides a drum rack?
I could tell you where to stick that piezo! :D ;)

I have mine mounted just like you describe but to my HH stand.  I'll try to get a picture tomorrow.   I'm thinking about buying a cheap used cymbal stand for mounting because I've noticed I get some random triggers if I'm hammering on the hats.

I use one of those multiclamps to attach the module or gen16 DCP to my hi-hat stand, although I far prefer having the module on the right.

I guess for a single stand retail solution there is the Roland PDS-10: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000UE7NTC/?tag=mh0b-20&hvadid=1450000033&ref=pd_sl_1ndnxbwzno_p
The module mount plate would still need to be drilled for mounting the 2Box module though, and the PDS-10 is a bit spendy.

And the other Roland APC-33 multi-clamp and module mount for attaching to a drum/cymbal stand like we were talking about, still a little pricey:  http://www.amazon.com/Roland-APC-33/dp/B0002EKCHU/ref=pd_cp_MI_0

Great picture Bill .... splitting those tom inputs is a nice option ...

Yep, got mine mounted on cymbal stand just in front of snare.... Used a generic mounting plate from Thomman , drilled holes etc... Attached via multiclamp.
