I know it would only be 2 zone, but is there any reason T4 couldn't be used for Cym4?

Are you sure it would even be 2 zone? I'm pretty sure it would only be one because T4 is piezo/piezo and the cymbal inputs are set up for piezo/switch. You can however for sure spit T4 and have 2 single zone cymbals very easily. :) I found that if you want more full functioning cymbal inputs...another module is required.

Yeah, just to repeat what Daniel says ..... the Tom4 input is a Piezo/Piezo input. So if you want to hook up a typical Electronic 2Zone cymbal it won't work. The edge zone which is a switch will not be detected, no edge sound, no choke on the Tom inputs.
Splitting the Tom inputs is the best way to add more cymbals, albeit single zone cymbals, but that works for me.
I could tell you where to stick that piezo! :D ;)

This is exactly the kind of info I was looking for.  Thanks!
