Cheers.

I actually ended up getting a kit today! Found a company that wanted to sell their demo kit, which had barely been played.  Bargain!

However, the couriers didn't deliver all 3 boxes (the shop split it into 3 boxes to make it easier to pack), so I'm playing it on my old V-drum rack.

Bit of an issue with a cymbal channel, which I'll investigate a bit more, but it doesn't seem to be triggering the right zone consistently!

You say you use your old v-drum rack, how do you do it with the 2box kickpad?
what v-drum rack are you using? because iam thinking to mount the drum-it five on a roland mds-12 rack. let me know about that.

Like puttenvr, I'm a ddrums.com transplant.

Hi Kyrrinstoch, welcome and good to see you around here.
Tell me, did you need additional medication after the transplant?  ;D

Thanks Kyrrinstoch...we've got a nice bunch of people round here and the regular input from Scott at Hand in Hand is pretty...Handy :)

Have you got a kit yet or are you planning to? Couple of weeks till I get my hands on mine but I've spent several hours annoying the good folk at Wembley Drum Centre banging away :)
UC - I was lurking for a while - just soaking up the information before I decided to join and post. I did notice Scott's been able to provide a lot of very valuable information for the community here. I liked the overall vibe (very similar to how ddrums.com was about 8-10 years ago) and figured I'd join.

As for getting a kit, no, not yet. A couple reasons being; no US distributor, I have (as yet) unanswered questions about the hardware's flexibility for non-standard setups, the lack of availability of the kit building/programming software, and (mostly) because I don't have the budget set aside for one yet. Once those other issues are addressed, I'll start budgeting for one (probably after my next snare drum purchase...) :)

In the mean time, I'll just have to make do with my ddrum4 setup.  8)

If people want to speak their own tongue round these parts, it doesn't bother me.

Maybe we should all adopt esperanto;D
