Dear Fellows,

during the last eleven month I got deep into the VST- and dsnd-thing. After producing dsnd’s whit my own method I got very nice sounding dsnd’s with lots of layers in the top area of the dynamic range.  I realized that the drumit can be a really strong tool to get VST-sounds running well.

But there is one thing that has to improve: the number of layers and the intelligent selection (“round robin function”).

The picture shows the arrangement of layers within the dynamic range. More layers in the top area, less in the lower area.

Is there anybody out there, who is able to progam the modul to run, let’s say, 256 layers or more?

This would reach a new dimension of realism.

Thanks in advance.

Drum-de,

technically, the drumit-5 should already interpolate between the layer-steps, if I'm not mistaken.
Some users solved the problem of having not enough layers in the lower area by simply do another set of the same samples!

Hope this helps
