For some reason my Gold 20 Kick dsnd file has got a bit of a issue, does anyone know where I can download a fresh copy of it, or does anyone have it that they can send it too me.

Many Thanks

Russ

I have noticed the problems with that dsnd too. Jman, did you remove the initial silence from it?

Yeah, that one I uploaded was cleaned up with DsoundTool. The top layer in the original dsnd has 8.7 ms of silence that needed to be trimmed. It only takes a minute to fix that kind of thing with DsoundTool. J

Yeah, I noticed the silence too and just wanted to know if you just trimmed it or did some other magical Jman trick for it.  :D

A little latency really can mess you up. I used to do quite a bit as far as online music collaborations, and I'm not a great drummer by any means, but when one of my drum tracks would get inserted into a song and wasn't lined up correctly it sounds soooooo bad.... especially if it is inserted late ... and you are behind the count.... miliseconds make a big dif.  :o

Yes they certainly do, it seemed like one of the samples was late triggering due to the silence before it, what gets me I even sat there and thought "hang on, is my timing that bad!!!!!"....... I even re-ajusted my beater thinking it was something to do with that!.
