I compared files in my module with original lists posted here on forum and, to my amazement, I found out I am missing some original sounds.
If someone would be so kind to share them somewhere or send them to me I would be very gratefull.

Missing files are:
Cymbal/Crash/Extreme 21 Crash.dsnd
Cymbal/Crash/Swiss L 17 Crash.dsnd
Cymbal/Hihat/Swiss Med 12 HHat.dsnd
Snare/Brass 14 Snr Amb.dsnd
Tom/Jazz 12 Tom.dsnd
Tom/Jazz 14 Tom.dsnd
Tom/Maple 10 Tom G1.dsnd
Tom/Maple 12 Tom G1.dsnd
Tom/Maple 14 Tom G1.dsnd
Tom/Maple 16 Tom G1.dsnd
Tom/X Shell 08 Amb.dsnd
Tom/X Shell 10 Amb.dsnd
Tom/X Shell 12 Amb.dsnd
Tom/X Shell 14 Amb.dsnd
Tom/X Shell 16 Amb.dsnd
Song/Afro Beats.wav
Song/Breaky Beats.wav
Song/Conga Bonga.wav
Song/Filter Fun.wav
Song/Guitar groove.wav
Song/Hausse.wav
Song/HouseDisco.wav
Song/Mooggy.wav
Song/Scat.wav
Song/Shekere.wav

Also, does anyone have listed files in root folder of module storage? I would like to compare it also, since I have some doubts there too. My kit was bought second hand and I'm not sure what previous owner did to system files..

Thank you for any help :)

Hello,

you can download the whole content of the module as a zip file here:

Thanx Manfred,
you are really an "2box genie" :)
I downloaded module, and found out sounds are exactly same as in mine, and missing same files as I listed.
Now I'm even more puzzled...
Only thing that comes to my mind is that this image is newer version (1.24) and some files got dumped in the meantime.

OK
Last few days I have been dowloading all official sound material from 2box web I could find, and it seems to me that there are quite a few inconsistencies between some kit banks, kits, and sound files. I'm still doing detective work and if there is interest among forum users, I could edit this topic and original post into article containing comprehensive list/resource of sounds, various (original) kit banks, and errors if found along. What do you think?
In the meantime, I would still be thankfull if someone could put above listed files somewhere to download, as I still lack those .dsnd-s, even after downloading everything from official web and hyperactive.de ...

The reason you have missing sounds is because 2Box updated some of the sound files in the newest modules. If you install the new Drumit.dkit file the sounds will correspond to the kits and you will not see missing instruments, songs, etc. An example of sound file dif.: In the new module the Maple toms are now Maple C 10 Tom.dsnd not Maple 10 Tom G1. So if you have your old Drumit.dkit file on the module it would be setup for the old Maple tom file and would not automatically fill the kit with the new tom file.
I could tell you where to stick that piezo! :D ;)

Jman, I assume the samples are the same even though the names have changed (to protect the innocent ;-)?

Not necessarily, some previous samples had errors or were replaced for a reason. I believe some of them may be improved actually.

Thanks Jman! That explains why my old drumit.dkit settings didn't work anymore.
Also means that I have to configure a couple of kits again...

Good morning. Two days ago I had a problem.
I was silent on the sound, tapping the tom and sounding like a slow down.
The quality of the stream plays a role; the volume ? The watt?
The problem was more intense when the singer was singing

You should start your own topic. You will get better results than posting this question in someone else's unrelated topic. thanks, J
