Using 2 hi hats?

Hello guys!

Is it possible to use two hi hats with the 2box module?

I play rock and jazz and I need two different placement for the hi hats (higher for rock so that I can have enough space to cross hands and still have the snare placed higher than my legs ; lower for jazz so that I can play easily and fast on the bow of the hi hat). I just can't find a good position to be perfectly confortable in every movement so I was wondering if maybe two hi hats (one low, one high) could be a solution?

Hi, I don't think it is possible to use 2 hihats simultaneously with one module.

hi

imo it s possible to have 2 hihat ... the secondary hihat should be plugged with a Y parralel cable         ( not a Y splitter like ones used for splitting toms ) .

If you use a 2 box hihat , It s possible you'll have to cut the "Ring" wire on the secondary one  .

If the same sound on both hihats is not a problem, that might work. You will need to increase the gain setting when switching piezos parallel.

I could tell you where to stick that piezo! :D ;)
