Output to power amp?

Other than at time of turn on and turn off does the module make any unpredictable noises either from its own electronics or from RF pickup from police cars or other transient radio frequency devices?

On a temporary basis I'd like to mix all drum and cymbal outputs to either outputs 1 and 2 or headphone output and run directly into a power amp using the module's volume control rather than having a mixer in line before the power amp.

I'm hoping to make sure that I'm not surprised by speaker cones flying across the room or that nasty smell of fried voice coils:-(
