2box pads with DM10

Hi guys i have one question.

Are 2box pads compatible with DM10 module. I'm thinking of getting Alesis DM10 studio and replace kick pad with 2box kick pad, which i guess is much less noisy, even if you do "hellfires" mesh head conversion(correct me if i'm wrong). Will that work?

Altho i can't see why it would not work i rather ask then spend money trying .

If you can help me please do so.

Thnx

You'd be far, far better off getting rid of the Alesis stuff and buying a 2box module!
2box is not really known for its triggers - rather for its outstanding module.

Thank you for reply.

Yea i know that would be a better option but its a matter of budget...2box is way to expensive in comparison....

and i don't care about the modul anyway, couse i'll be using PC/VST sync for playback anyway.

I just want to know if the alesis modul will recognize the 2box trigger and forward the signal to my PC where i can load SD2 or EZ or what ever on it..thats all info that i need.

So if anyone can tell me that, please HELP!

Kick pad will be no problem since it's a simple trigger

Thank you very much for your help !!! :drum1:

Because of the varying signal strengths from the 2Box pads you'll most likely have to fine tune your mode setting using the gain, sensitivity, cross talk, etc. Should work fine though.
