Hi
Just got the 2box. I've been through the manual so pretty sure I know how to tweak settings once I got my drums from BFD3 to the 2box. I just got the SDSE as well. I want to get the best detail/max velocity layers as possible from the BFD kit. Am I right in thinking I need to export from SDSE via Reaper/BFD and then use Dsoundtool to sort out velocity layers and then after that...do I lay them out and tweak in the Drumit 5 editor? Is that the best way to go? Sorry bit confused.  8)

SDSE, Reaper and your VST is basically all you need. You normally don't need to tweak with DsoundTool or the 2Box Editor after building the dsnds. The main thing to look through is the SDSE Manual which explains all the various options you can choose within SDSE.  http://lustark.com/faq?catid=3

It's possible to increase the maximum amount of samples that you will get in the .dsnd files in Options > Samples but I would recommend to keep the default settings, at least when starting. Don't hesitate to send me a mail or PM if you need any help or information about a setting in particular.
