Hi Scott.

Could you possibly give us a rundown of the different curve settings and what they would be best used for?

Hi Daz

There is going to be some info coming soon, which should shed more light on the curves functions.

Thanks
Scott

Calimero

Can somebody who has done the update confirm that the hihat is significantly better then it was before the update?

Maybe they are having to much fun playing there improved hihats to
post.

The hihat has improved a great deal, though its not perfect yet. it is easier to achive halfopen sound now. I still think that it triggers a bit weird sometimes (points 1 and 2 on my erlier post). I have to say tough, that at this point it is working ok. I am happy enough to keep the kit.

You really need to try each setting for the HH as they are all a vast improvement but depending on your playing style will differ for different people...

I tried to update the os tonight and i encountered some serious problems. After i copied the new os file to the unit, i rebooted it and got an error. I wasn't able to delete the new OS file nor rename it as one of the users suggested... Now i'm getting an error each time i power up the unit. Loading the old 0.36 OS works fine and I'm able to play, but i'm very concerned with this issue :( Will the usb boot update help or is my unit damaged???

Unable to update ...
And still problems with the line-in !

I'm not an computer guy. I'm just a drummer who are enough .

I can't work whitout this bloody line-in

That prommesses ...disapointed !!

I think I'll sell it and replace it with a Roland Td-4. Not the same level but work.

Just had a quick test with the new OS and I think it feels really great! Much more solid all around, the new curves are very nice and does much for the dynamics and the hihat feels much better :)

To the 2Box Team. You are doing an awesome job with this kit! I´m impressed with you guys starting a whole new company and delivering this kind of product.

On the top of my wishlist for the 2Box Santa:
A great drum editor (Mac :)) and Stewart Copeland´s drum kit  ;D

Maybe some sort of VMware Fusion solution will work?

Heh, spot the geek :-)

Any Mac owners want to try dual booting with Ubuntu and try it under Wine?

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MacBook

It's a better operating system anyway :-p

Only kidding :)

Some of my best friends own Macs.

He:) I ended up using my friends PC and the update went flawless. Any news about the editor?

Hi Magellan

When you say that you can't update, what has been the issue?

Thanks
Scott
