I have a wish.  Please make it come true.

At the moment the DECAY control jumps right from infinity to 10 seconds, so that 10 seconds
is the longest decay possible on a sound (if it is not to be infinite).

This would probably be ok if they were 10 real seconds, but in practice it works out to give
a decay period which is actually much more severely truncated.

It's great for "tuning" toms and kicks, but not much use on ride or crash.

Can we please have a greater range of control, so that we can realistically trim longer sounds
like ride hits?

NB - the reason I'm giving this it's own post is because I did already raise it in the "Top Software
Features" thread a long time ago, and also I believe it must surely be real easy to implement.
If it can't be done easily then fair enough of course.
