Hello guys, this is my first post on the forum. I've had my 2box kit for a month or so now and am absolutely loving it.

One thing that I cannot figure out is how to alter the sounds on my ride and crash cymbal. What I want to do is, is on my ride cymbal, change the bell out for a china, turn the regular hit sound to a bell, and turn the edge into a crash, to make up for only having two cymbals. Is there any way to do this?

The dsnd files for your cymbals contain all the sounds in one dsnd .... for example a ride will generally contain the bell, bow and edge sound, and each of these sounds correspond to the correct zone. So it isn't the type of thing where you simply go into the module and assign a different sound for an individual zone.
What you want to do would require building your own dsnd files. The easiest way to do that would be to use Louis' ...  DSoundTool .... With that you could create a file with the China on the bell, the bell sound on the bow and a crash sound on the edge.... :
You can take a few dsnd files and copy the sound from each one and assign it to a zone on the new dsnd ...
See, Copy a zone from another .dsnd file:

I could tell you where to stick that piezo! :D ;)
