The only way to figure out is to test.

Just take in account that it is not just the wifi but also the response time of your PC or Mac.

I also wonder how it should work. I image the wifi replaces the datacable. Just like the brain camera's have a dedicated datatransfer mode. And then the brain will not controll the pads.

We should look for a wifi-card that works as accesspoint.

The Transcend does work as an accesspoint if you set it up like that. You can also set it up as 'internet mode' to be a part of your already existing network... the apps is geared for images though, and I can't seem to find any info if you would be able to simply mount it as a network drive.

My thought is tossing it into the 2box, configure it to be part of my network and try to access it as a a network drive. That would be suh-weeeeeet! Trying to find out more about it...

<edit: Addendum - I know the write speed is rather poor (10-11 MB/s), but the read speed is good (Above 20), which is what should matter, right? >

It is worth trying. I was also looking for a SSD-drive with a SD-interface. Then you can hook up a full swing SSD-drive. Would solve all issues

Please verify that your device supports SDXC cards. SDXC cards are not compatible with SD or SDHC host devices and card readers, and will only work on SDXC host devices. Check with your device manufacturer to see if it supports SDXC.

i just found out that there are many sdxc cards. there are even 256 gb  sdxc cards. yes you read correctly. the 64gb pny card is under 100 dollars. problem is that it is statedthat the host must be sdxc compatible. so since this must be a new technology, i guess we cant use them right? oh well

i am doomed. please someone help. i ordered the pny card and it just came in, i bought it from german amazon. seller was supoposed to be pny

all i got is not the original packaging and the card is blue and not black like in the photos. there is definitelly something fishy going on here...is it supposed to be blue? please guys tell me. i am filling it up with samples to test but i am sure there will be problem... why am i so unlucky what the hell...anyone has returned any items from amazon?

as expected, it wont even load. ill use thesd formatter tool and reply again what happened though my expectations are low. anyway, i will return this as i paid for a retail item and all i got is no package. why to me .its the second time i am so angry

i wish mine is also alan, but i have my doubts. i will tell when i test it later today. thing is that you got yours in retail package right? mine was not... i loaded it and i got errors, i can tell it takes too long to load the samples (45 minutes, what the hell) etc etc. i will tell soon how it performs but i am not positive...

Mine is from Conrad, blue and required the special format program. Now it works well.
