By Allan's recommendation I purchased one of these and received it today. It loads and performs just about identical to the Lexar cards I have been using and recommending. This PNY works quite well. And as a bonus they are very reasonably priced! I definitely recommend this as well as the Lexar I mentioned earlier for the 2Box module mod! The card is the one pictured below. PNY Professional 32GB SDHC Class 10 20MB/s (133X)

I don't think the card extender supports 64Gb.

thanx guys. i have made my mind to get the pny card, probabaly when my girl comes to the us. i was looking at the german amazon site and came  to these pages

http://www.amazon.de/PNY-32GB-SDHC-Karte-Class/dp/B004MWTXM8/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1360273054&sr=8-3

http://www.amazon.de/PNY-Elite-UHS-1-ultra-speed/dp/B0075D1V0I/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1360273054&sr=8-1

the first one seems to be the one jman is taklking about right? the one that workjs flawlessly.

the second one seems better, faster, but idunno will it work with our brain? of course i wont risk and get the newer one, ill bet on the sure things. ill probably buy it from the us, but just in case i cant find it over there in a month, i wanted to see what other options i have. cheers

BA, faster is not always better because read time is the important thing here. The first one is what many of us have found to work. I don't think anyone has tried the second one. So, either stick to what you know works or "take one of the team" and try the second one. When I bought my first PNY card, I had no idea it would work. If it didn't, I planned to just use it for something else.

The X factor in this is how all these memory cards are constantly changing even within the same models .... and model numbers being discontinued or being replaced by the next batch or next model. So, hence our continual search for the next card for the module. When I was at NAMM Bengt mentioned he had a good dependable source on memory cards he uses in the modules and can count on them to stay consistent. I'll have to drop him a line and see if he can help lead us on our quest, that'd be cool  8) .... J
I could tell you where to stick that piezo! :D ;)

Hey guys.

Been thinking a bit.
Anyone tried to use something like http://www.cyberphoto.se/info.php?article=SD32GBTC10WIFI

A wifi enabled card could be accessed without using the usb cable, and without adding an
extender cable. 32 gigs should be plenty of space for all the kits I would want, I think.
Card SHOULD be fast enough for the drum module?

Seems attractive to me, but I thought I'd ask if anyone tried it before spending a lot of cash on a card.

<edit: Addendum - I know the write speed is rather poor (10-11 MB/s), but the read speed is good (Above 20), which is what should matter, right? >

The only way to figure out is to test.

Just take in account that it is not just the wifi but also the response time of your PC or Mac.

I also wonder how it should work. I image the wifi replaces the datacable. Just like the brain camera's have a dedicated datatransfer mode. And then the brain will not controll the pads.

We should look for a wifi-card that works as accesspoint.
