I put together a little video demo of my Stealth Acrylic Blue kit all run through double Drumit Five modules. I've been busy making lots of changes to my setup including converting a Sabian XS-20 Super Cymbal set with my newest 2Box Stealth conversion kits. Plus I switched out the HPD-15 for an SPD-30..... Here's the link to a low resolution video:

Thanks for taking the time ..... J

Hi Jman,

really nice set and also nice sounds. I still wonder how you get such good snare sounds out of SD in your module(s). At least with headphones directly connected to the module my sounds don't sound that good. Especially with my snare sounds i'm not really satisfied. Are you using presets provided by Toontrack or do you make all the setting by you own?

Regards, Manfred

Thanks for the kind words Manfred ...
I don't think I have used the default setting for any of the snares ... and yes, I have been using Toontrack presets. For example, the snare on the GMS kit from the video was with the Nir Z snare, but with Steven Slate Fat Rock preset. The Nir Z snare is one of my favorite snares from SD 2.0 I also have versions of that one with the Natural Avatar preset and one with the EZ drummer preset ... they all sound good to me each slightly dif from the other. The snare on the Pork Pie kit was the Copeland snare from Evil Drums ... Roomy preset ... the snare on the Sonar kit was the GMS Maple/Ash snare with Natural Avatar preset. Oh, and I have been using the GMS 10 X 5 and the GMS 13 Piccolo snares with Nat Avatar presets for my Aux. (2nd) snare. J

Jerry,
Wow! If 2box don't endorse you as their new poster boy, they don't know what they're missing.
Well done for seeing opportunity where others saw deficiency. You have managed to fill the module with wonderful sounds and replace the orange disks with a kick-@rse kit. Man, you rock!
My only question is how did you manage to look so clam on the rollercoaster. Even Tommy Lee looks more flustered when he's doing the outside loop on his rollercoaster kit.

Thanks for the kind words Allan! :-[
I told you I use a very powerful magnet on my HH pedal, that with the Stainless Steel Toe ring on my left foot and the safety belt on my drum throne keeps me pefectly safe when I'm upside down ;D
