Hello,
Does anybody know if there are songs
included in the drumit 5 module, and how
many ?
And are there well known songs ?
And can I plug an ipod on my module
and does it read mp3 songs ?

Information for French visitors :
I've just ordered the drumit 5 in east France (last week), in a shop
named Music Mag, and they told me it will be avalaible from
30 october, and that 300 kits are going to be shipped in France,
and that 250 of them are already booked.

Yes there are original songs included in the module, there were 18 on mine, in all different styles.
There are no 'well known' songs on there.
You can plug anything in with a small jack plug.
The unit will play any format through the jack input, but will only at present play .wav files actually on the unit.

But at this point the mix in doesn't work... the the sounds get distorted ones listening to a external source. But there is a fix on the way

My line input works absolutely fine? I didn't know there was an issue with this?

Magellan

You are lucky. I'm waiting for an update or something for resolve it

Have you tried to play along with an external input track, the sound only gets distorted when triggering samples at the same time, otherwise it sounds good.
Bengt said that they are aware of the input problem, and every unit so far has it, but the problem will be fixed in the next update

Scottie

Hi patbat

Here are 2 songs that are pre-loaded on to the Unit when it ships:

http://www.2box.se/Downloads/LoggsofStrings.wav
http://www.2box.se/Downloads/BollywoodTrain.wav

I can confirm that we have the line-in issue on our demo kit in the office. I brought this to Bengt's attention some time ago, and they are working on the issue. I know it must be frustrating for people waiting for the update, but the guys at 2box have taken notice of all the things that people have said about the kit, and they are working as quick as they can to get all the bugs ironed out.

Thanks
Scott

I did play alaong, but can't recall any major issues? Unless I was just happy I had the kit! haha.

Anyway, i have been slack recently due to work commitments but hope to get to mess with the kit tomorrow!

Can someone do me a huge favour and drop me a download link or something to the first play along in the drum brain?
It should be awesome!?

Alex

Nussbaum

No, it's something with handclaps I believe.

patbat

Thank U NeilC and Scottie for your answers.

Does anybody know if in the future updates
it will be possible to mute the drums when
playing pre-loaded songs ?

Why do you want to do that?
cd-players are made for this purpose  :P ;D

patbat

No , I meant mute the song's drum line, so I can hear the bass guitar line,
guitars, vocals, and so on, but no drums, and I play the drums on the drumit five

(sorry, it's hard for me to explain in english)
