Hey Everyone

Here is a short video to show a ddrum 4 SE tom and cymbal, just so you can get an idea of how they work with the DrumIt Five Unit.

http://blip.tv/?file_type=flv;sort=date;date=;id=2635826;s=file

I will try and get a bit of a longer video for you when i get a little bit more time, but at least you can see how they trigger.

Thanks
Scott

Hi Puttenvr,

If I am not mistaken you also own roland pads: have you tried them with the 2box brain? If so, how do they trigger?
This information is quite precious for those who would like to stick to their kit (and change the brain only).

Thanks and ciao,

Carlo.

Thanks very much Scottie!
It looks like that toms trigger fine, but the ddrum4 - cymbals don't seem to work properly. Any idea if the cast precision pads (the old ones) would work as well ?

Cheers

It looks like the bell has moved to the right side of the pad

Hey puttenvr

You are correct it does seem that way. I am going to do a little bit more testing at some point, to see if it can be tweaked a bit.
I will also try the kick drum out as well. The one thing i have noticed with the ddrum kick, is that it is louder then i remember it being when you hit it!

If i find anything good, i will let you know :)

Thanks
Scott
