Also,
Other pads will work with Mk1 module. The only real problem you will have is Hi-Hat.
You can use Roland Hi Hat with Mk1 module with a Zourman box (see Anders on here for information or https://zourman.com)

Ride cymbals might also be a problem if you want 3 zones, bell, bow and edge.

Jobeky make (or they did) cymbals especially for the Mk1 module using a single TRS cable.

It might be an idea to shoot them a message and ask if they still do.

Ciao!

Steve

Hello!

The pads of the original MK1 and Mk2 were the same. If they are the orange/black ones.

They will mount on Tama Style L-Rod stand. They fit on tightly, but it can be done.

Anything larger, like DW style L-Rod, definitely not.

Anything slighlty thinner, like the kind that cowbells mount on, that will work too.

I hope google translates my reply into Italian well enough for you to understand.

Greetings from Wales.

Steve

I google translated the post:

Hi everyone! I have a doubt and I hope someone here can help me.
I have the 2Box MK1 (first model) but without hardware. Now I would like to purchase only the MK2 hardware that I found online from a private individual.
I was about to make the payment but I had the terrible doubt that the MK2 pads are not compatible with the MK1 that I own.
Can anyone give me some information on this?
I read from a previous post that many of the pads of other brands do not work well on 2box but I don't know how the compatibility is between the various models of the DrumIt5
P.S. I hope this topic hasn't already been discussed but I don't think I've found anything about it in the forum
Thanks in any case for your attention :-)

And ddrum4ui has been updated, too, to use ddrum4edit 1.02.00

Hi!

There are a few options for the Mac.

Unfortunately SDS is not available on the DrumIt.

Cheers!

The DDrum Legacy / ddrum4edit sound file editing ...

Greetings all! ddrum4edit 1.02.00 is now available!

With this version comes some bug fixes, code refactoring, and enhanced support for native ddrum3 and 2Box DrumIt dsnd files.

Previous ddrum3 support was limited to only reading the sample data and assigning each sample to a separate ddrum4 layer and variation. Now most of the layer parameters are translated from the ddrum3 format directly to the ddrum4, including sound types, velocities, positional sensing, amplitude envelope (gain, attack, decay) and pitch. Many ddrum3 parameters do not have a direct translation to the ddrum4 so currently are simply read, but ignored. Also the DVA parameters, although present do not yet have a known mapping to the ddrum4.

Previous DrumIt dsnd support was limited to a single zone with some experimental velocity mapping from ddrum4 to dsnd. Support now includes multiple zones and improved velocity mapping (thanks Deve!) and as before, all layers have the ddrum4 layer parameters applied so the sounds are as close to an actual ddrum4 module as possible. This is still very much a work in progress and uses the existing ddrum4edit configuration format so is subject to change as more discovery is done. However, this provides an alternative to the existing DrumIt GUI apps for users that may prefer a text based, parametric approach to sound file creation, which can dramatically speed up the iterative process when making lots of small changes like modifying wave file content or swapping out different versions of a wave file.

Download Link for User Guide and ddrum4edit executables.

Cheers and Enjoy!

Ciao a tutti!
Qualcuno sa darmi qualche informazione in meriito?

Hi edcito,
What is your master unit ? roland td ? Alesis?
in my limited knowledge what you are describing sounds like the hi hat note off hasn't been filtered out. It is not the splash note off that you have to filter out (the splash midi note from your master unit doesn't trigger anything in the drumit 5), it is the hi hat note off.
