It seems very strange that the Di3 is delivered with only 4Gb internal memory, since the memorycards in so inexpensive
Does anybody know how much free memoryspace theres left with all the stock-kits on the card?

Is it possible to just change the internal memorycard or will I have to do an extendercard update?
Sincere
/Anders

Yes just put a 512 gb sd card in your module and voila!

Do you have suggestions on how to apply heat to this small parameter around the screen? You mentioned 40C which is 104F but all heat guns I've seen start at 750F and up.....if I used a hair drier, I fear it may damage the screen as it would be too wide of an area of heat being applied.....also I see the 64GB ATP sd card will work ok, but I need to be sure that I can access the card over USB, I understand it will be slow, but if tracking down an extender cable is really difficult then I can deal with the long wait times. Am I correct is saying that the issue of the sd card corruption only happens when accessing the card over USB while using the extender? Or does this happen as well plugged directly into the board?

64 GB ATP sd card? You mean a SDXC 64 GB ATP card.
Who used this card in his 2box module? Is it working 100%?

New Sdxc cards starts with 64 GB.
Now we need to figure out how we
can use these Sdxc cards (64 Gb, 128 Gb)
in our 2box modules.

Maby Deve Loper can help us?

Can anybody tell me if there is a 2box Speed-
Light kit manual? Where can I get it?

What are the best trigger settings for the new speedlight hihat?

Hi 2box Fans!

I have the 2box Speedlight kit at home.
Its a very small kit!
The rack feels very sturdy!
Tiny pads 8 inch for the toms and 10 inch for the snare but I Love the smal setup.
Pads (Snare and toms) triggers great! when I saw the kickpad I tought oh no a rubber kick pad!
but when I played it for the first time it felt great you better don't connect it to the rack.
Soft rubber kickpad.
Then the cymbals  I like them very much! its not like an cheap medelli cymbal aldo they look like them,
but they feel great and triggers very well. Also I was pleased with the hihat it plays fine.

Conclusion: For that price outstanding kit!

-Material use of the rack/clamps and pads could better its all hard plastic.
-the manual is included for the Drumit 3 module, but is there a 2box Speedlight kit manual?

+When you play the speedlight kit it doesn't feel you play a cheap kit, so that's a big +.
For all drummers looking for a new ekit that does not have much space at home, this is the kit that you need!

Greetings from the Netherlands,
Roel.

one question: what are the best trigger settings for this new speedlight hihat? can anybody help me please.
thank you.

Ok, enough with the mystery, got my drumit 5 MK2 module today and just setting it up, here are my first impressions:

    • the box is similar to the drumit 3
[li]the power adapter is a generic one
a plastic mounting plate is included
the quick start guide is similar to the drumit 3, no full manual included
The SD Card is nicely fitted in the card slot, it doesn't rag a bit, it is spring loaded but you'll need long fingernails or a plastic thing to get it out because it doesn't come out so easily when pushing it.
I took it out and first surprise: is a micro sd card in a generic sd card adapter! it has a plastic seal so I can't see which micro sd card it is.
as advertised is a 32GB card
it has 12.1 GB data with 17,4GB free
it comes with OS 1.36.1 installed
there are 75 kits, from 1 to 24 are completely new kits with new and old instruments, these sound really really nice!

I did the sd card test with HD tune, first test showed an access time of .87 ms

    that's it for now….

You say it has 12.1 GB data on the SDHC card.
On the 2box website the Drumit5mk2 content has
13,05 GB when I have unzipped the zip file.

Ok so here it is the new 2box module Drumit 5 version 2.
As a 2box Drumit 3 owner I'am not impressed with how the new module looks.
It has the looks of the Drumit 3 module, only more buttons.

+ card slot up to 64GB
    +2 more outputs

    - still it has the same small display as the Drumit 3
-where are the faders still no faders...
-more level volume controls would be nice.
    -no bleutooth
    -Ambience options?
-better trigger settings for each pad.
-hihat triggering (setting up the hihat easier ).

I was hoping on a more spectacular module from 2box...
apart from that its not a bad module but they could have made it a lot better...
and a easier menu structure  like the Roland modules would be better.

    hey dear 2Box-Users,

Steven Slate Drums 5 ist out now - has anyone testet it yet? Will it work with 2Box and DrumIt 5 via MIDI? Does SSD5 support all features like HH (i'm on Roland VH11 and Zourman Converter) and 3-Zone Cymbals?

My plan... using SSD5 at home for editing drums (and playing them via MIDI/SSD5) and converting final edited drumsets to D5 via JMans SD-Card-Mod and SDSE (when it will support SSD5).

    Thanks in advance!

I have all kits from Steven Slate Drums 5 in my 2box Drumit 3 module.
I think these are the best sounding samples at this time.
loving those samples. Now my Drumit 3 sounds as good as the Pearl Mimic module.
