Hi all, this might be easy to do, but I can't find where to do it...

When I recording via MIDI from the 2Box into Cubase 5, the midi notes (in the editor) are so narrow I can't move them withought resizing them first... does anyone know a way of setting a default size of the individual MIDI notes? It would probably be easier with a picture but am at work at the minute....

If anyone knows what I mean, let me know, if not I'll post an image....

Morning everyone... Can't find Scottie's email address and HandInHand haven't replied, but does anyone know if a spares/extras pricelist exists for parts for the Drumit5?

Cheers

Hello all, long time no see, and my work got rid of it;s stupid Proxy gateway!

I just ended up leaving Stonerun due to lack of moving forward and they style of music we were doing, and am now regularly back in my loft on my trusty 2Box. I have recently re-recorded/souped up some demo's I did back in 2009 and literally this morning created a Facebook page. Not really a massive fan of Facebook but here you go: http://www.facebook.com/withthisdeafeningsilence

Also you can get me on SoundCloud: http://soundcloud.com/neilcarden

More stuff on the way once I get a bass guitar sorted.

Cheers, glad to see the forum is still going strong!

Maybe if the file system was corrupt, then some of the files were... Maybe try re-downloading the OS and #start from scratch'...

Have you 'built' it correctly?

If you connect the Drumit5 to your PC via USB and power up the Unit then press the USB button, do you see the DRUMIT5 as a drive on your PC? if so you need to format it by right clicking and choosing format, then make sure it's formatted in the way specified... FAT32, 32 kbyte cluster

Obviously anything that is already on your drive will be over-written, so if you can, copy the contents off it to your PC before formatting. Format, then copy back over.

FAT32 refers to the type of File Allocation Table and is how hard drives are formatted - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File_Allocation_Table

I don't know if you should contact your distributor or whether this invalidate any warranty, I don't think it would...

Hey, you might want to see this below... from another thread...

http://www.2box-forum.com/index.php/topic,139.45.html

Hope it helps (thanks Duckers)

Hi LooPercuS!

Do you get error: FAT_S_0512_C_04k?
Then you need to reformat the flash card.
Below is a cut from the "Resources" page of this forum:

.. if you see a strange message when the OS starts like
FAT_S_0512_C_04k
(meaning a FAT with 512 byte sector and 4 kbyte cluster is detected),
you have a Flash drive with the wrong formatting.
Even though this is technically a correct drive format, for the purpose of playing sound files in DrumIt, it's not appropriate (sounds might distort). Unfortunately this might have happened on some units of the first batch.

If you succeeded in updating to boot 1.30 and the you have wrong drive format, you can reformat the drive to FAT32, 32 kbyte cluster and copy back all sound files. If anything fails, contact your distributor.

In terms of triggering, it runs fine for me, same level as BFD... I have downloaded the demo of addictive and going to see how the mapping works...

Manual, dude..

http://www.2box.se/Downloads/DrumIt-User-Manual.pdf

Pretty straight forward as far as I know, there is a 'Play' button and Metronome options on each kit page... just choose tempo and go from there, never really used it, but when I have its all been done from the initial page after turning on

Only really used BFD and Superior Drummer... How does Addictive differ?

I would speak to Absolute and tell them you think you have a faulty cymbal, or send Scottie a PM as he works for the UK Distributor Hand In Hand - or contact them direct... http://www.handinhand.uk.net/  either of them might be able to help.

Hope you get it sorted...

Also make sure the cable isn't damaged and inserted properly into the cymbal/unit...

also this is in the 0.36 Manual, not near my unit at the moment so cannot check...

Yeah I know which one you mean, it's a shame I prefer BFD to Superior though :(

Had a look at the EvilDrums and they're all with snares :(
